Bill Stauss is a petroleum engineer and college professor. He has drilled wells in the Gulf of Mexico, the arctic islands and the Canadian Rockies. He has explored for oil in the jungles
of Venezuela. He has operated a deep gas well testing company in Texas and Oklahoma. Bill grew up in the Foothills of the Ozark Mountains in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, and now lives in Tulsa, Oklahoma with his wife, Kay. For much of his travels in the oil fields of Oklahoma and Texas there was always a comrade by his side. His name was Billy Bob, an American Staffordshire Bull Terrier…a pit bull.
